Material:

1.45# Carbon Steel

High strength and good toughness, easy to machine with high precision. Hardness and wear resistance can be improved by quenching. It has high cost performance, widely used for medium-high speed and medium-heavy load transmission. Prone to rust in humid environments, galvanizing, blackening or anti-rust oil treatment is required.

2.Alloy Structural Steel 40Cr / 20CrMnTi

Excellent comprehensive mechanical properties. High hardness, wear resistance, impact resistance and fatigue resistance after carburizing and quenching. It bears large torque without deformation or fracture, ideal for high-speed, heavy-duty and precision industrial transmission. Higher cost and requires professional heat treatment.

3.Stainless Steel 304 / 316

Rust-proof, acid and alkali corrosion resistant with high sanitary standard. Suitable for humid, chemical, seaside, food and medical clean environments. Rust-free and maintenance-free, only applicable for light and medium load, not for high torque and impact load.

4.Aluminum Alloy 6061 / 6063

Light weight, low inertia and high machining precision. Anodizable for corrosion resistance. Sensitive start-up and stable high-speed operation, widely used in small automation and light machinery for high-speed light-load couplings. Low hardness, not suitable for heavy load and high torque.

5.Gray Cast Iron HT200 / HT250

Low cost, easy casting and machining, good shock absorption and noise reduction, stable dimension and deformation resistance. Suitable for low-speed and light-load general transmission equipment. Poor toughness and weak impact resistance, not suitable for high speed and heavy load; easy to rust in damp conditions.
